Hosted by Olympian and rugby powerhouse Heather Fisher OLY, with involvement from former Scotland international Jim Hamilton, the Sport x Business Conference is a morning of panels, conversation and connection — exploring the trends shaping the future of both industries.
A selection of our partners will host panel discussions covering the biggest topics at the intersection of sport and business, from performance and leadership to investment, media and beyond. Panel sponsors, guests and topics will be announced soon.

The official London City 7s After Party takes place at an exclusive venue just a short walk from the HAC — to be announced in the coming weeks. Expect great music, great company and the perfect setting to celebrate a day of world-class sevens with players, partners and guests.

About us
Born in the heart of the Square Mile, the London City 7s launched in May 2025 with a simple mission: to bring world-class sevens rugby back to London. With no European leg on the World SVNS Series calendar, the tournament stepped into that space — and the City answered. The inaugural event saw Harlequins edge out Saracens to claim the first title in front of 3,000 corporates at the iconic Honourable Artillery Company, one of the most historic and picturesque grounds in the country.
The London City 7s is more than a tournament. It's where elite rugby meets the corporate world — international, club and invitational teams competing side by side, wrapped in premium hospitality, networking and entertainment. And this is just the beginning: the ambition is a global city series, bringing this unique blend of rugby and business to key cities around the world.
The London City 7s returns to the HAC in September 2026 — bigger, better and louder.
General Manager
One of the most respected figures in world sevens. A former England Sevens captain and head coach, Mike went on to lead Kenya and then the USA to unprecedented heights on the World Series circuit, becoming renowned as one of the sharpest tactical minds in the short-form game. Mike believes sevens has always been a vital pillar of rugby's foundations — and now he's bringing that vision, energy and expertise to the London City 7s.
Voice of the City 7s
A towering presence on and off the pitch. Capped 63 times by Scotland and a veteran of top-flight club rugby in England and France, Jim has become one of the game's most recognisable voices through his broadcasting and podcast work. Expect insight, mischief and no shortage of noise — Jim brings the City 7s to life.
Innovation Lead
An Olympian, World Cup winner and one of the most inspirational figures in the women's game. Heather represented Team GB at Rio 2016, won the Rugby World Cup with England in 2014, and has since become a powerful voice on performance, resilience and mental health. As Innovation Lead, Heather is shaping what's next for the City 7s beyond the pitch.
